Fantasy football trade analyzer.

Put any players on either side and see which one wins. Everyone is valued on projected points above replacement — what he adds over the best player still on waivers at his position — so the answer does not turn on which name you have heard more often. Sides with more than one player are depth-discounted, because a roster starts a fixed number of them.

Side B0 pts

A player’s number is his projected points per game above the last startable player at his position for 2027 — so it already measures him against what you could get off waivers, not against zero. Sides with more than one player are depth-discounted: the second piece counts at 78% and the third at 61%, because a fantasy roster starts a fixed number of players and the fourth-best receiver you own is not replacing a starter. Without that, two of anything would always beat one of anything, which is how trade calculators end up being used to justify trades rather than judge them.

How this values a trade

How does the fantasy trade analyzer decide who wins?

Each player is valued on his projected fantasy points per game above the last startable player at his position — value over replacement — so a QB1 and an RB1 are compared on what they add over the alternative you could get for free, not on raw points. Sides are then compared after a depth discount, and the verdict reads the gap as a share of the larger side rather than as a flat number.

Why does a 2-for-1 not automatically win?

Because a fantasy roster starts a fixed number of players. The second piece on a side counts at 78% of its value and the third at 61%, since your fourth-best receiver is not replacing a starter. Without that discount every trade calculator would tell you to accept any deal where you receive more bodies, which is how they end up being used to justify trades rather than judge them.

Is this analyzer free?

Yes. No account, no sign-in, no limit on how many trades you run. It uses the same projections as the Balladex draft board.

The same numbers as the draft board. Projections come from the Balladex fantasy football board, so a player worth a first round pick there is worth a first round pick here. For the week-to-week call rather than the season-long one, see who should I start. Model estimates, not guarantees.
