Brook Lopez rebuilt himself from a post-up scorer into a stretch-five champion.
Drafted 10th in 2008, he became the Nets' all-time leading scorer and a 2013 All-Star before foot injuries and a shifting league forced a reinvention.
He added the three-point shot, and in Milwaukee became a floor-spacing, shot-blocking anchor — winning the 2021 title and making two All-Defensive teams.
He led the NBA in total blocks in 2022-23 and finished runner-up for Defensive Player of the Year, before signing with the Clippers in 2025.
